Call for Papers
On June 8-9, 2001, the Center for Pension and Retirement Research at Miami University will host a conference on Current Pension Policy Issues with support from the U.S. Department of Labor Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration and Miami University. The intent of the conference is to provide pension researchers with an opportunity to share their research findings with each other. A unique feature of the conference is the workshop format. All papers are distributed in advance, authors are given a brief period to summarize their findings, and the majority of the time is spent discussing the paper. We believe that this format is beneficial to the researchers in terms of improving their work and stimulating new ideas for research.
We invite you to submit a paper for consideration. Also, if you know someone that is doing pension research that might be interested in attending, please share this information with him or her. The conference will pay the travel expenses of all attendees. The deadline for proposals and requests to attend the meetings is February 1, 2001.
