The Institute for Humane Studies is pleased to announce, "Scholarship and
the Free Society," a conference for graduate students, graduating college
seniors, and recent graduates who intend to pursue academic careers in the
humanities, social sciences or law.
This conference offers an interdisciplinary, scholarly examination of
classical liberal thought, past and present. It will be held at two
locations this summer:
the College of Notre Dame, Belmont, CA June 29-July 5, 1996,
and Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA, June 13-19, 1996.
